My name is Ariana

  • I am the first in my family to go to college and first to study a STEM field. This means I have had to navigate academia largely by trial and error with little to no guidance on how to manage my stress, show up confidently, and create my ideal work life balance.

  • I have created my ideal balance over the last 3 years after trying every resource out there. I don't work on my PhD on weekends, I stop working by 5 PM every weekday, and have plenty of time for myself. I genuinely look forward to working on my PhD every day.

  • I believe any method for success is incomplete and ineffective without addressing your limiting beliefs.

  • I believe academia and STEM education should be accessible for people of all backgrounds and that women need additional support in academic environments.
